Habitually working between the media of video projection and textile sculpture, Katie Switzer is a visual artist who examines interactions that concern the material and visual constructions of space. Switzer situates her viewer within immersive, experiential installations that augment one's physical and psychological perceptions of surrounding space. Since graduating from OCAD University in 2014, Switzer has been a member of Toronto Art collective, Analog Preservation Network (APN), creating projects for festivals including The Long Winter, WayHome and Videodrome.

Katie currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
